8.2.1 Employment practice living wage

Providence University compensates its faculty and staff in accordance with the salary standards established in the "Providence University Faculty and Staff Salary Regulations" and the "Providence University Contracted Personnel Employment and Management Regulations".  Based on the latest internal statistics in 2024, the average monthly salary for faculty members is NT$106,987 , while staff members earn an average of NT$58,248. Both figures are substantially above the statutory monthly minimum wage of NT$27,470 stipulated in Article 21 of the "Labor Standards Act."

In order to stabilize and motivate the morale and cohesion of faculty and staff, PU grants an annual year-end work bonus equivalent to 1.5 months' salary, in accordance with the "Providence University Year-End Work Bonus Issuance Regulations."
