12.2.6 Policy for minimisation of disposable items
In accordance with the relevant regulations issued by the Ministry of Environment, Providence University has actively promoted plastic reduction policies. These include measures such as the "Restrictions on the Use of Disposable Tableware," "Restrictions on the Use of Single-use Plastic Straws," and "Restrictions on the Use of Plastic Shopping Bags."
Posters promoting the reduction of single-use tableware are displayed in campus restaurants, encouraging the avoidance of disposable utensils. Additionally, the campus cafeteria offers discounts to customers who bring their own containers.
