PU provides affordable housing for faculty and staff members, with monthly rates ranging from 2,900 NTD to 4,500 NTD. In comparison, the average cost of living (rent and utilities) in Taichung City is around 21,900 NTD.

If faculty or staff members have special needs, they may move into the faculty and staff dormitory free of charge upon approval of their application.

Additionally, to attract and retain exceptional talent, PU offers housing or housing subsidies upon special application approval, based on the regulations for Recruiting Research Talents.
