Providence University offers a range of support services for individuals with disabilities. To assist students with disabilities, PU has set up a resource classroom that provides ongoing academic counseling and support throughout their education. For subjects where additional assistance is needed, the university can arrange for instructors or teaching assistants to provide after-class tutoring.  

Additionally, the university offers specialized assistance to address the unique learning challenges faced by students with disabilities. This includes services such as note-taking, reading aloud, locating library resources for visually impaired students, helping physically disabled students with lab work, and providing real-time translation and oral descriptions of course videos for hearing-impaired students. The resource classroom also hosts parent meetings to help new students transition smoothly into the university environment.

• Each semester, PU develops an Individualized Support Plan (ISP) for students and holds Individualized Support Service meetings to formulate and implement these personalized support services.
