4.3.1(1) "Exploring Taichung School" program
The "Exploring Taichung School" program, initiated by Taichung City, encourages high school and vocational school students to engage in experiential learning and explore their city. The program includes "Exploring Taichung School" cross-school elective courses, which have now entered their fifth year. These courses promote inter-school collaboration and resource sharing, leading students to discover and broaden their learning horizons.
Providence University offers courses that involve practical or experimental approaches, making the content engaging and appealing to high school and vocational school students. These courses provide students with a preliminary understanding of university life. Upon completion of the course, students receive a certificate.
In the academic year 2022, the university offered a total of 11 courses with 255 participants.
