10.6.7 Accessible facilities

Providence University has been actively planning and improving accessible environment on campus since 2001. To date, all of our buildings meet government regulations and are equipped with accessible elevators, parking spaces, restrooms, braille signage, and accessible ramps, enabling faculty, staff and students to reach, enter, and user the fcilities.

Additionally, the university has established a resource classroom to proactively assist students in adapting to the campus environment, with a primary focus on "understanding students' needs and providing software support." Through the campus accessibility map and individual activity requirements, students can plan their own personalized routes. In addition to guidance from special education teachers, the university also offers various assistive devices and regularly organizes activities to enhance the campus's accessibility.
